I didn't love this movie but I didn't hate it either. It was better than most but no where near the top on my list of top fave movies. Although, the huntsman was hot! I could watch & listen to that man any day of the week! Yummo! I am not the biggest Kristen Stewart fan... has nothing to do with twilight, but her as an actress. No matter what emotion she is evoking or character she is playing, her face/expression never changes. She always has this glazed over look in her eyes with the half opened mouth showing off some tooth action. I just don't get the appeal but whatever. She's the billionaire not me; must be doing something right. There wasn't a whole lot of dialog in this movie either. I never felt connected to any of the characters. Even the evil witch mother-in-law... which I thought I was going to love to hate. But nope... nothing. It just needed more, not sure what, but needed more of something. I enjoyed it but probably wouldn't recommend paying to go see it? I'd say wait till it was out for rental. My favorite part was definitely the hot huntsman! I'd sit through it again just to watch that hunky man in action. Anyways, that's about all I have as a review for this movie. It was good but just wasn't for me. I thought it could of been way better than it was simply by lead character choice and missing dialog. But what do I know, right? Just my opinion... hope this helps you in one way or the other. Did I mention the huntsman was way hot!?!?!?!

Not much is going on with Falling right this minute. My editor won't start working on it till June 6th. But I think I want to change a few things before then. I know... I know... I really need to stop but something just came to me and I think it will help the book. I am super excited to get it back from her so that I can hand it to my beta readers (Carrie K., Zeena K., Rin C., Kat, Ashely E., Tiffany R., Deann M., Grace R., & Brittany R.). I think I am more excited to have them read the book than the editor. Thank you girls for offering your time and services! I really appreciate it! I have a few friends, a few bloggers, and a few random people all in the mix so that I can get a good idea of what needs to be fixed or what needs to be enhanced etc. This way I can have some unbiased opinions on what I need to change. Those suggestions along with my editor's recommendations will be rolled up into my ideas to create the final product!!!

I am torn
on whether or not I want to start writing now or wait until I get all of my edits done with Falling. I don't want to be distracted by either one. I think it's probably best that I hold off on writing until I can complete Falling and put it on the market. Then I haven't decided if I want to write my murder mystery thriller book or the second book "vampire cowboy" book, Crash (working title). I have tons of ideas of what I want to happen and where I want the second book to go. I will need to do some research because I will say this much, there will be traveling :D Choices Choices Choices. Mostly, I think, it will depend on the outcome of Falling. If I have a loud outcry for answers then I might start Crash next. I guess only time will tell!

Anyways... I have an interview tomorrow for the city's arts and activities center! It's on a temporary position, I'm guessing throughout the summer, but I think it will be good for me. I'm excited to be working with kids and families etc. I love arts and crafts so this would be the best summer job ever! Plus it would still give me plenty of time to work on writing and once summer is over I will have a better idea about how my writing will be. IE. full-time career or part-time hobby. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE... let it by full-time career or at least part-time career! Husband's on his way home, first time I think I've seen him while the sun was out in over a week (he is in the army). Going to spend some time with my love then finish reading the fae war series.

Elle Casey - Darkness & Light
(War of the Fae book 3)

I am almost finished reading the third book in the War of the Fae series. I have to be honest and say that the first half of the book bothered me. It wasn't the story line or the characters. I was annoyed with how the author kept repeating herself. In my opinion, if your reader is reading the third book in a series, then they shouldn't have to be retold that same basic things over and over again. Just my opinion though. So about half way through the book it started to pick up and get interesting. I am really enjoying the second half of the book and can't wait to finish and start the forth one.

(War of the Fae book 4)

I haven't started this one but it is next. The link above will take you to Amazon to buy the book or read the descriptions. Like I've said before, you will not see me doing actual book reviews because I wouldn't know where to begin. I am simply sharing what books I am currently reading and a few random thoughts about it as I read.

Call To Arms
(War of the Fae: Book 2)

After finishing the first book I have moved on to book 2! I am about 40% into the book and it is getting good! I'd highly recommend her books! I will post my review as soon as I finish the book. I have linked the picture to Amazon if you are interested in buying it.

Over the past 24 hours I have had to make some tough decisions regarding my editing. I have decided to change editors due to some miscommunication with my previous copy-editor. I have however found a new Editing Company to work on Falling for me. Although this will affect the release date since the project will not start until June 6th now, I believe it is for the best. I will now be working with Alexis from Word Vagabond Editing Services. I am excited for this change and hope that it will be the best for me as an author and my book. This editing company has edited several other popular indie authors and cater to self-publishing first time writers. I found this company by looking at Elle Casey's webpage after finishing the first book in the Fae War series. Alexis and company were the editors that she went with for this series and a few of her other books. Since I enjoyed her book so much I investigated the link and contacted Word Vagabond regarding services. I have been contacting via e-mail with Alexis and should be starting this process with her in the upcoming week. Sorry for any delay this might have in my book release, but as I said, I do believe this was for the best.

4 out of 5 stars

I finished reading The Changelings by Elle Casey last night. Amazing little book! Different from anything else I've read in a while. I am not the type of book reviewer that goes into character descriptions or plot details. I save those for the pros! I just like to write a short review telling you if it is worth the read or not.

The book is funny and exciting! It will keep you wondering what is going to happen next. The characters are all so different and you can't help but fall in love with them. I am personally a Spike fan - when you read it, you will see why : )  I bought the second book last night and will start reading it today. There are parts of the book that you will laugh out loud at. Jayne, the main character, is a hilarious girl with a sharp tongue. You is the ideal female lead character that I love to read about. She is feisty and a rebel. Jayne doesn't take crap from anyone and she totally kicks ass every chance she gets. I promise this will be a book that keeps you interested from the first page till the last page.

"Man! Can you write! And goodness, are you prolific! And a born storyteller, I think. Those are all great things. No need to panic. You will get good reviews." - Jill (editor)

I am over the moon excited! You have no freaking idea how happy I am right now! Woooh-hoooh!

I have turned the book over to Jill, my editor. She is, as we speak, cuddled up and reading my novel! She said she would send me an e-mail letting me know what she thought as soon as she was done. I am so nervous to hear what she has to say about it. This is the first time someone is reading my entire book and my stomach is flip-flopping like crazy just waiting on her review. As happy as I was to put Falling aside I am now kind of missing working on it. I can't wait till she gets back to me so that I can get my fingers to work again. I am so excited to work on this with her. She is such a talented editor and I know my book will be amazing because of her help.

Also, I have met some wonderful people on goodreads who are bloggers. I have them linked on my home page but I will also link them at the end of this blog if you are interested. Rin has offered to do an interview with me once my book is released! How freaking excited is that!?!?! Her and her friend Kat both read paranormal romance novels and write reader reviews on them. They have offered to be beta readers for my book as well as help cross-promote my book release. Best part of all is that they were invited to the ADD Conference in August (New Orleans, LA). Only 320 lucky and talented reviewers and 80 authors were chosen to attend. Rin has offered to mention MY BOOK at the conference! HOW FREAKING AWESOME IS THAT!!!!!

Oh and I would like to thank everyone for visiting my website lately. The other day I had an all time high of 43 viewers! Everyday this past week I have had on average of 25 page hits. To me that is wonderful considering my book hasn't even been released yet. Keep it coming! It makes my day when I check my website stats and see that people visited my site. Makes me so so so happy - thank ya'll! I can't wait to have my book reader for everyone to read. I hope ya'll enjoy reading it! Thanks!

The Changelings by Elle Casey

I am currently reading The Changelings by Elle Casey - I am only 17% through so I can't really give a decent view just yet. So far, so good! I saw on Samantha Young's facebook that Elle Casey was having a special on Amazon for the book to be free. If you are interested in buying her book, I linked the picture to the amazon website. Also, I linked Samantha Young's website page to her name above. I just finished Samantha's series The Warrior's of Ankh - Blood Will Tell, Blood Past, & Shades of Blood.A very, very, very good series that is quite different than anything I have ever read. This was my first time reading any of her books and I was pleased with The Warrior's of Ankh series. I would highly recommend that series to anyone interested in new type of Paranormal Romance kinda genre to read. I haven't read any of her others so if you have, let me know what I should read next. When I saw her promote this book I figured it was free so it wouldn't hurt to try it. Check out my GoodReads page for my updates on the book @ http:goodreads.com/user/show/8786931-n-l-dufour
